Ocean 21 is a street gang that originated in Brooklyn, NY in the 1980s during the crack epidemic. The gang was founded by Flatbush Slim and his childhood friend in the Flatbush neighborhood. It was named after the two streets that the founders grew up on, Ocean Ave. and 21st Ave. In the 80s, the gang primarily focused on crack dealing. Since then, they have expanded their drug activities to including cocaine, meth, and other various illegal drugs as well as managing prostitution rings and human trafficking. During the leadership of Flatbush Slim, the gang helped run the human cage-fighting in the Boroughs.
